Riva Historical Society

The Riva Historical Society was founded in 1998 in Milan, Italy by Piero Gibellini and fellow Riva owners, to save and conserve Riva boats and their unique place in international nautical culture. Its honorary president is Carlo Riva.

In 2001 the RHS was reorganised into a federation, whereby its members actually belong to affiliate clubs located in Europe and elsewhere in the world.

The RHS is prohibited from accepting members who are individuals or corporations. Instead, individuals and corporations join regional clubs, through which they may participate in activities organised by the RHS and other clubs. All receive a quarterly magazine from the RHS, VivaRiva.

At present the RHS comprises more than 400 individuals who are members of affiliate clubs worldwide. To find out more about the society, please read the RHS newsletters by clicking on the links to the left, or visit www.rivahistorical.org
